A winner for any mom running around all day, to prepare and freeze for later stage.
Start with a great pot or baking dish, that is heat resistant and can be popped into the oven if needed.
Meat or no meat – Add your favourite Avocado or Macadamia Nut Oil and Sauté meat ( ground beef, bite sized pieces of chicken, sausage, etc.) Add cooked beans of tofu for a vegan option.
Vegetables – Add chopped vegetables like onions, garlic, carrots, or whatever you like. Cook until nearly tender.
Add your flavour – Next, add your sauce ingredients, such as tomatoes, wine, broth, water. It will seem like a lot of liquid at first but don’t worry, the pasta will absorb it as it cooks.
Pasta – Add your uncooked pasta and cover your pot or baking dish.
Stir to keep your pasta from sticking. After the cooking time let your pasta rest before serving.
Cheese it up – Add your favourite cheese, Cheddar, Parmesan or Feta
Add a drizzle of our Avocado or Macadamia Nut Oil flavoured in Garlic for a more robust taste or and the Chilli Flavour for some heat.
